ShelterBox on the ground in Japan

Below is the text from a letter dated April 4, 2011, from RI District 2520 Governor Naoki Narayama to ShelterBox CEO Tom Henderson.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you and your response team to Japan. They have been working hard keeping close contact with us, Rotarians in this district 2520, since the team had arrived Japan on 12th March.

In this state of emergency, we have been greatly supported by the response team to help families in and out of the evacuation centers.

It has been taking some time for us to realize the wonderful effectiveness of tents. We are now, however, receiving requests for sending more boxes, every day from many Rotary Clubs which are distributing boxes in devastated areas.

Please continue to help and support us by sending more shelter boxes to us. We will work cooperating with your response team closely in helping more families who need to receive the boxes as their physical and mental shelter.

Thank you again for your help.

Yours sincerely,
Naoki Narayama
District Governor
Rotary International D.2520"
